David Bellamy is a well known artist and author of several books and

many DVDs. He demonstrates at art exhibitions all over the country and

runs courses and expeditions all over the world. He specialises in painting

mountains, rugged scenes and coastal landscapes. He is particularly

fascinated by the moods of nature in wild places. Through his painting

and writing he hopes to bring about a greater awareness of the threats

to the natural environment and he is particularly active in conserving the

wild areas.
