Paint the beautiful Wye Valley with David Johnson in Oils.

Details

We will paint a mixture of subjects including buildings in the landscape at

places like Tintern Abbey, Tintern Old Station, Tintern Parva and St.

Briavel's. We will also paint boats, water and reflections at Ross-on-Wye,

Chepstow, Lydney Harbour and Cannop Ponds. Subjects will include

castles, old ruins, bridges, cottages and villages.

DJ is an inspirational teacher and his passion for painting and flexible

approach to tuition will encourage you to push the boundaries in order to

develop your painting style. He is very approachable and supportive as a

tutor and he will paint along with the group and encourage everyone to

develop.

He will show you a variety of techniques and methods for applying paint,

including alternatives to brushes. You will study and play with colour, light

and textures, allowing for individual creative expression. He paints every

day and teaches on a regular basis - he has so much energy and passion.

You will certainly be inspired by his enthusiasm.
