Belinda Biggs
Belinda Biggs is an artist and tutor currently living in NSW Australia.
Originally from a career in the printing industry, Belinda has now been
teaching regular classes in watercolours, pen & wash, graphite, coloured
pencils and pastels for the past 16 years. She also runs workshops and
painting holidays worldwide, including Italy, India, Rarotonga, Norfolk
Island, France, New Zealand and now the UK.
Belinda exhibits several times a year and has won many awards for her
painting and drawing, including selection for the prestigious 'Focus on
Nature XIII' and 'Focus on Nature XV' with the New York State Museum
and the 'Mortimer Art Prize' (the very best in realism) and the Margaret
Flockton Scientific Illustration Award at the Herbarium NSW and has her
works in private and public collection worldwide.
Belinda has also been included in the publication Who's Who in Visual Arts - 50 Masters of Realistic Imagery.
She is a member of the Central Coast Watercolour Society NSW, Botanical Art Society of Australia, The American
Watercolour Society (New York), and The Newcastle Art Society NSW.
Belinda has abroad range of subjects she likes to illustrate from the natural world but while out on location enjoys
painting the historical buildings, scenery and gardens with pen & wash.
Due to the uncertainties of the global pandemic and long haul travel Belinda will next be tutoring for us in 2023.
