Summary

Paint the beautiful Wye Valley with Belinda Biggs in watercolour, where

we sketch on location and return to the studio to complete full paintings

Details

We will paint a mixture of subjects including buildings in the landscape at

places like Tintern Abbey, Tintern Old Station, Tintern Parva and St.

Briavel's. We will also paint boats, water and reflections at Ross-on-Wye,

Chepstow, Lydney Harbour and Cannop Ponds. Subjects will include

castles, old ruins, bridges, cottages and villages.

Belinda is an experienced and enthusiastic tutor who will lead you through

your painting with demonstrations, tips and techniques. While painting

mostly on location we will be able to 'finish off' our work later in the day.

With plenty of individual one-to-one tuition you will be able to create some

lovely memories of your painting holiday whether a complete beginner or

a more accomplished artist.

She will show you how to get the best result from Pen & Wash which is a

great medium and is ideal for depicting historical buildings and gardens.
