Within a few minutes from the hotel are many beautiful painting locations around Lake Windermere and the hotel is ideally

positioned to reach places in the Southern Lakes to as well as, North Windermere and The Langdale Valley. Subjects include

lakes, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, bridges, villages, castles, boats, boathouses and jetties. It is such a wild and majestic

place. Within the hotel grounds is a fascinating Lakeland Model Village with over 100 buildings which makes for an interesting

spot to study perspective for drawing buildings which give a standing perspective whilst seated. There is plenty of subject

matter at Stott Park Bobbin Mill and Sizergh Castle, south of Windermere.

Key Details

Arrival is from 2pm on the arrival date and the course introduction is at 6pm on the arrival date.

We will leave the hotel at 9.30am each morning, have lunch around 1pm and finish at 4.30pm each day.

The course finishes at 4pm on the departure date.

The deposit is £225 per person for 4 and 5 day holidays (£175 for 3 day holidays).

Most courses cater for all abilities. However, if you are a complete beginner please call to discuss the best choice for you.

For a small additional charge you can have all Art Materials provided for use only on your holiday. Please see Key Details above for more information on pricing and what is included for each medium.

Art Equipment is available and included in the price such as Easels, Chairs and Boards but please indicate on your booking form if you require these so that we can make sure we have enough available.

Prices exclude travel insurance.

You need to ensure that you have sufficient travel insurance for ALL holidays with us including the UK, Jersey & the EU. We cannot be held responsible for any guest not having sufficient travel insurance for their requirements.
