Summary

Join us on this unique opportunity where you will paint the beautiful

villages in the Cotswolds in watercolour with Steve Hall and Richard

Green, so you will get the benefit of 2 tutors (for the price of 1!) As an

introduction to working with Alpha, Richard will be working alongside

Steve.

Details

We will paint many beautiful Cotswolds villages including the famous

Lacock, stunning Biddestone and peaceful Steeple Ashton. With

Bradford-on-Avon nearby to the hotel we will paint around this historic

town and there are many others places such as Nunney with it's castle

and the Kennet and Avon Canal.

This will be Steve's last year tutoring on location with us and so this is an

excellent opportunity to benefit from his lively demos and depth of

experience as a tutor.

Richard will be tutoring for us moving forward and he will provide much

of the tuition and will assist you.

They will alternate doing demonstrations throughout the week but

Richard will be your main tutor for one-to-one tuition with Steve in the

background contributing when needed on an advisory basis.

They both have a relaxed approach to watercolour painting and creating

those simple yet dynamic images that they admire in the works of

Edward Seago and Edward Wesson.

The objective will be for you to capture the scene before you with as little

fuss as possible but with awareness of the important shapes and forms

that describe the view. By following Richard's advice your work will take

on a more dynamic appearance leading to that 'wow' factor that we all

seek in our painting.
