Simon's enduring fascinations and the focus of his painting are light,

atmosphere and weather. With over 40 years as a professional artist, he

has developed a wide range of techniques for capturing the fleeting

qualities of nature.

Simon has two careers, both in watercolour. The first is as a watercolour

visualiser and the other is in Fine Art and since his teens, he has exhibited

in many galleries. After his architectural studies (BA, AADIP), he

commenced the parallel career as a watercolour architectural visualiser,

working on many projects worldwide: London Olympics, Boston Museum

of Fine Arts, Tate Gallery, Natural History Museum and more.

His watercolours have been widely published: House and Garden, American Vogue, Evening Standard, Saturday Times

and more.

His fine art has been exhibited in the UK, Australia, USA, Italy, and Denmark. Simon is a Fellow of the Society of

Architectural Illustrators and an elected member of the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales (FSAI, RWSW).
